From 16th – 19th September 2019, the LSP Days 2019 – the 2nd European Laser Shock Peening (LSP) Workshop will be held in the ZAL in cooperation with the Helmholtz Zentrum Geesthacht (HZG). This interactive workshop is supplementary to the “International Conference on Laser Peening and Related Phenomena”. The diverse agenda of the LSP Days offers attractive content for interested newcomers and experts alike.
The main focus is on establishing networks between industry and science. Participants will be brought up-to-date on the latest laser shock peening technology and it’s industrial applications. The process has multiple advantages; greatly improved production and fatigue properties of metallic materials to name just two.
The workshop consists of tutorials and lectures by experts in the field of laser shock peeing, as well as poster sessions and guided tours through the ZAL TechCenter and the HZG. Further workshop topics are
