For the 10th anniversary of the ZAL TechCenter, we opened our doors for a special day within our community: At the ZAL Family Day, employees and tenants were able to show their families and friends what they work on every day – while also making the wide range of topics at the ZAL TechCenter tangible.

The particular strength of the day lay in the people who bring ZAL to life. Teams from different companies and research institutions presented their projects, offered insights into their work, and demonstrated the diversity of research and development within the ZAL ecosystem.

From inspection robots and hydrogen drones to insights into current aviation projects – visitors were able to experience research up close. For younger guests, there was also a varied programme including a drone pilot license course by HAW Hamburg, a children’s lecture, an aviation quiz, and many other hands-on activities.

A heartfelt thank you to all tenants and employees who helped shape this day. Once again, the Family Day showed what our community is made of: people with different perspectives who share their enthusiasm for technology and jointly drive innovation forward.
