Great news for the cooperation project Medifly Hamburg of GLVI Gesellschaft für Luftverkehrsinformatik, FlyNex, Lufthansa Technik, and ZAL GmbH. On 26 May 2020, the drone project was awarded the innovation prize ” Reallabore” by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy in the category “Rückblicke”! The award was presented in the presence of Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister of Economics and Energy, and Thomas Jarzombek, Commissioner for Digital Economy and Start-ups and Coordinator of the Federal Government for Aerospace. In February, the Medifly team led by ZAL GmbH successfully carried out several test flights between the Hamburg Bundeswehrkrankenhaus and the Marienkrankenhaus.

Medifly Hamburg is now entering the second project phase. Until 2022, further routes and medical applications will be tested in Northern Germany.
