The finalists have now been selected: On November 25, 2024, the jury determined the three shortlisted entries. All three projects demonstrate innovation, technological excellence, and forward-thinking collaboration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Shortlist:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dassault Syst\u00e8mes: &#8220;Systems Engineering Application for Better Design and Analysis of an Assembly Process&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Hamburg Airport: &#8220;Hydrogen Aviation Lab&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Helmut-Schmidt-University\/University of the Bundeswehr Hamburg: &#8220;BETA \u2013 Fuel Cell System Development for Technical Aviation&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Jury<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The finalists were chosen by a diverse jury that combines fresh perspectives with extensive experience in the aviation industry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carsten Laufs, Aerospace Tech Lead, Diehl Aviation<\/li>\n<li>Heike Lagemann, Young Talent, proTechnicale alumna and student<\/li>\n<li>Kathrin Haug, Innovation Committee Member, Hamburg Chamber of Commerce<\/li>\n<li>Mario Vesco, Aerospace Expert, Sustainable Aero Lab<\/li>\n<li>Wolfgang Borgmann, Media Representative, AERO International<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The countdown to the award ceremony is on<br \/>\nThe winners will be announced on December 12, 2024, during a festive awards ceremony. In addition to the ZAL.award trophy, the winners will receive a professional video and the opportunity to present their project as part of the ZAL.award event, held on December 12, 2024, at 3:15 PM in the auditorium\u2014just before the ZAL Christmas Market.<\/p>\n<p>Until the announcement, the excitement continues.
